Definition of Denied Parties?

Special measures regarding Denied Parties and shipments to embargoed countries / regions
As a trusted service provider, carriers respect local and international rules and laws implemented in the context of the strengthening of global security through international sanctions and embargoes.

Therefore, we would like to inform you that any shipment given to a carrier could be delayed if the shipper or the receiver involved in the transaction is linked to an individual or entity that is on a Denied Parties list or its content or destination is embargoed.

Denied Parties are individuals or entities that have been denied shipping privileges by government agencies because they are involved in illegal activities such as drug trafficking, money laundering or terrorism. Any transactions with someone on this list that would violate the terms of its denial order are limited or even prohibited. Embargo on the other hand is an official ban on trade or other commercial activity with a particular country.

In the context of these regulations, all our shipments are screened in order to point out any anomaly or a possible link with the Denied Parties list. Our mission is to ensure that we don’t carry any shipment from or to a Denied Party or to an embargoed destination.

In order to avoid any unnecessary transit delays, we recommend that you use our shipping tools to prepare your shipment paperwork in order to eliminate any hand-written errors.

Please be as precise and exhaustive as possible when entering your shipping information to facilitate the screening procedure and avoid your shipment being unduly stopped. It is crucial to have full names (first and last), as well as addresses and contact phone numbers, to achieve accurate screening and ensure your shipments are not held due to incomplete details.

For example, we receive a consignment from you with incomplete consignee details then the carrier may hold this shipment and request the receiver’s full first and last name, address and contact details from you.
Receiver’s full name: Jacques Dupont
Blocking reasons:
- Incomplete name displayed on the waybill: J. Dupont or Jacques D.
- Or even only initials : JD
