Preparation of Item Prior to Shipment

Double Walled Boxes
Use very strong and sturdy double walled cardboard boxes designed to hold the weight packed. Boxes should be secured by running tape across the folded flaps at the top and bottom, as well as around the box from back to front and from side to side. We also suggest running tape along the seams of boxes for extra strength. Only taping across the folded flaps is not sufficient. With two layers of brown corrugated board, double walled boxes provide superior rigidity, stacking strength and double wall protection from knocks and bumps. Proven to reduce damages compared with standard B flute boxes. Use thick brown packaging tape and certainly not cellotape which is useless! Need double walled boxes then contact us at

Single walled boxes are not acceptable.

It's important items are secured within your box so they cannot move around and become damaged in transit, so use some foam, bubble wrap or other packaging fillers.

Do NOT strap any item together as it will NOT be accepted.

Do not overfill cases so they burst open or the zips give way. Drivers will always lift suitcases by the handles so beware the inner weight could cause damage to weak handles. We will not be responsible for an over-packed box or bag which bursts open for any loss of contents.

You can't go wrong by using too much protection and too much correct packaging tape for peace of mind. Do also remember only the inner contents are insured and NOT a suitcase which will get wear and tear and damage to wheels/handles due to the inner weight.
